Privacy policy

Amore Heart Foundation ("we") collects personal information to review applications, issue official donation receipts, and communicate with partners. In production, application data lives in PostgreSQL in Toronto and documents live in a private object-storage bucket in Montreal (or a local equivalent in development).

What we collect

  • Account details (name, email)
  • Application answers and supporting documents
  • Donation and tax-receipt records required by the CRA
  • Contact and volunteer messages

Why we collect it

To operate charitable programs, issue official receipts, meet CRA books-and-records duties, and respond to you. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Donation and tax-receipt records are retained as required for registered charities. Application documents may be deleted on request after a program cycle unless we must keep them for legal reasons.
